Joah Brown takes 4th of July
We consider ourselves to be rather patriotic, but we aren't particularly into
overstatements. With the Summer heat in full swing, we're taking a cool, easy, and
minimalistic approach to 4th of July style this year.
So, if like us, you love fireworks but don't want to dress like them, take a look at what we
plan on wearing for this holiday!
Shades of Blue: What's more American than the perfect cotton tee and jeans?
Our newly released cotton collection has become a favorite Summer staple.
We debuted these styles in a vintage navy wash -- the perfect color to incorporate into your 4th of July fit.
Create a casual, yet put-together, monochrome look by tucking our Only Tank or New School Tee
into some jean shorts. A good pair of tennis shoes is a key element
in July 4th BBQ hopping, so we went with a crisp white to keep the look fresh.
Add a red bandana if your looking for a subtle way to complete the festive color trifecta.
White Hot: Yes, you can wear all white to the BBQ.
It's HOT around here, and we're all about beating the daytime heat while looking chic.
We paired one of our luxuriously soft and airy white modal tanks with white denim for a polished, yet accessible ensemble.
Again, we added just a touch of color with a red vintage neck scarf to give the outfit depth.
If nighttime fireworks bring a chill, our For Keeps V-Neck in waffle is a go-to.
Our waffle fabric drapes like a dream, making this silouhette cozy, yet flattering -- especially tucked into your favorite jeans.
Leggings for Days:
We have absolutely no qualms with sporting an athleisure look this 4th of July. Afterall,
we have a soft spot for functionality and comfort.
Not everyone wants to (or gets to) sit back and relax for the holiday - so if you're on the go
and don't plan on slowing down -
grab our navy cotton Queen Crop, a killer pair of leggings, and throw on a patriotic ball cap -
And call it a day!
(Bonus announcement: Stay tuned for JB's very own technical collection releasing in September!)
Whatever mood you're in this holiday, we've got something to keep you feeling relaxed and looking good.
So eat, drink, and have a happy 4th of July!
